エレクトロニック・ミュージック・シーンの重要人物 Chris SSGは、同シーンにおいて最も影響力のあるブログ、MNML SSGSの共同創設者として広く知られている。2012年にブログが完結すると、DJとパーティ・オーガナイズに力を注ぎ、同シーンに偉大な功績を刻んだ。彼のダンスフロア・セットへの探求は、温もりのあるメロディ、ミッドテンポ・グルーヴからテクノ、そしてエレクトロにまで至る。Resident Advisor、XLR8R、The Bunker、Smoke MachineとMysteries of the Deep 等のポッドキャスト・シリーズではミックスを提供し、日本で行われたElectronic Explorationsショウケースにおいてはキュレーションを務めた。近年では、国内のみならず海外からも注目を浴び、BerghainのElektroakustischer Salon、Concrete Paris、The Bunker NY、Berlin Atonal、Nachtdigital、Organik、Orbits、Sustain Release、rural 等の主要なフェスティバルに出演を果たした。
Chris SSG is best known as the co-founder of the now defunct MNML SSGS blog, recognized as a leading source of critical insight on electronic music. Following the end of the blog in 2012, he has devoted his energies to DJing and organising parties, and in the process has become an integral part of the Tokyo techno scene.
His distinctive style has been illustrated with mixes for podcast series including Resident Advisor, XLR8R, The Bunker, Smoke Machine, and Mysteries of the Deep, and he has also curated a Japan showcase for Electronic Explorations.
In his dancefloor sets he explores warm melodies, midtempo grooves through to techno and electro.
Chris SSG has played most major clubs in Tokyo, and in recent years has ventured further afield, appearing at Berghain’s Elektroakustischer Salon, Concrete Paris and The Bunker New York, as well as major festivals including Berlin Atonal, Nachtdigital, Organik, Orbits, Sustain Release and Rural.

そして、11月24日に青山 ZEROで開催される23周年アニバーサリー・パーティには、ベルリンのBerghain”Elektroakustischer Salon”を始め、世界各国の主要音楽フェスティバル等で活躍する、エレクトロニック・ミュージック・シーンの重要人物 Chris SSG (MNML SSGS / Japan)を迎える。

“in the mix” is one of the longest run party in Japan, which always ahead of the time of the dance music scene in Tokyo. They invited DJs and artists from all over the world, such as BASEMENT JAXX, IDJUT BOYS, ASHILEY BEEDLE, KING BRITT, IG CULTURE, MAURICE FULTON, GREG WILSON, HUBBLE, DJ KRUSH, DJ BAKU, NARUYOSHI KIKUCHI, KEI KOBAYASHI, AOKI TAKAMASA, KEN ISHII, etc… In 2014 they launched new theme “FREE FORM HOUSE MUSIC”.
The long run party “in the mix” will have the 23rd anniversary in November 2018.
