今回のBlock Partyは、Nana Duahをお迎えします。イタリア北部のアンダーグラウンドシーンで育ったNana Duahは、ハウスデュオLowheadsの一人。Soul ClapのCrew LoveやWolf + Lamb Records、Derrick CarterとLuke SolomonのClassic Musicからリリースを重ね、Louie Vegaのアルバム曲”See Some Light”のLowheadsリミックスはHuneeもプレイ。彼らのサウンドスタイルは、ファンキーなディスコアフロビートと80年代と90年代のエレクトロニクス、そしてシカゴのリズムを融合させた純粋にハウスミュージックのグルーヴを持つ。最近、Dazzle Drumsも彼らの曲”Black Paradise”のリミックスをしたので、一緒にパーティ出来る事が嬉しいです！皆さんと少しでも音楽を通じて繋がることを楽しみにしています。

This time the Block Party will welcome Nana Duah from Italy. Nana Duah grew up in the underground scene in northern Italy, one of duo Lowheads. Released from Soul Clap ‘s Crew Love, Wolf + Lamb Records, Derrick Carter and Luke Solomon’ s Classic Music. Hunee also played Lowheads’s remix of Louie Vega’s album song “See Some Light”. Their sound style is characterized by a funky disco afro beat, purely house music groove that blends the 80’s and 90’s electronics, and Chicago’s rhythm. Recently, Dazzle Drums also remixed their song “Black Paradise”, so happy to be able to party together! We are looking forward to connecting with you all through music.
