LOVE INJECTION UNIVERSAL LOVE JAPAN TOUR 2023

 

DJのDazzle Drums, MINAMIとLightのMachidaの3組が、青山0 Zeroを拠点に今年5月から始動したパーティ、Prisma。9月開催に最初のゲストとなるLOVE INJECTION (Barbie Bertisch & Paul Raffaele)を招聘します。

Danny Krivit主催718sessionsや、Gilles PetersonプロデュースWe Out Here festival内にてColleen ‘Cosmo’ Murphyが関与するLove Dancin’などの出演を経て、彼らが東京でどのようなDJプレイを披露するのか。19年9月に開催したMusic Of Many Coloursで披露したオープニングセットとは異なる2人の音楽的魅力を、少しでも多くの人に楽しんでいただけたら嬉しいです。もちろんPrismaレギュラーメンバーもこの日までワクワクしながらしっかり準備して、皆様をお待ちしております。

 

 

 

 

LOVE INJECTION (Barbie Bertisch & Paul Raffaele)

 

Love InjectionはPaul RaffaeleとBarbie Bertischによって2015年に共同設立された、NYを拠点とする音楽と文化のファンジンであり、彼らのユニット名でもある。絶えず変化するNYのダンスミュージック・カルチャーを広める重要なプラットフォームとしての地位を確立し、MoMA PS1、White Columns Gallery、Music Center、Resident Advisorのキュレーションおよびホストパネルでナイトライフの展示を行い、DublabやWorldwide FMなどのラジオ番組もプロデュース。彼らはファンジンだけでなくDJという手法でも積極的に表現/伝達しており、ブルックリンのThe Lot Radioにて『Love Injection』の名を冠した番組で毎週土曜日にDJミックスを披露。またクリプシュホーンが備えられたブルックリンのスポットMagick CityでパーティUniversal Loveを主催し、Colleen ‘Cosmo’ Murphyが主催するリスニングセッションClassic Album SundaysのNY支部としてもプロデュースとホストを任されブルックリンのNowadaysで開催。

また近年Danny Krivitの良質なエディットを数多くリリースしているレーベル〈Most Excellent Unlimited〉はPaul Raffaeleが運営しており、紙媒体/ラジオ/パーティ/レコードレーベルと、彼らは現代の音楽業界において適切で有効的な情報拡散手段を駆使し、NYで長年培われてきたダンスミュージックを広めるべく多忙な日々を送っている。

Dazzle Drums

NagiとKeiの2人組ユニット。それぞれが90年代からDJ活動を開始。ハウスミュージックとダンスクラシックスを軸に幅広い選曲で新譜を織り交ぜプレイする。2005年より現在まで、King Street Sounds、Afrocentric、Nulu Electronic、Tribe Records、BBE Musicなど数多くの海外レーベルからリリースを重ね、国内外の幅広いDJがプレイ。現在レーベルGreen Parrot Recording/Yellow Parrot Recordingを主宰。2016年より定期的に海外にも出演し、2022年8月はGilles Peterson主宰ロンドン郊外のWe Out Here Festival出演後、1ヶ月半5カ国14か所のUK、EUツアーを行う。レギュラーパーティーは、Block Party、Music Of Many Colours、松浦俊夫とのBridge SHINJUKU。2023年5月から毎月第二日曜日午後 0 ZeroにてニューパーティーPrismaを始動。

Dazzle Drums is a Japanese DJ/Producer duo of Nagi and Kei, who have been DJing mainly in the Tokyo club scene since the 90s. Their selection blends a wide variety of songs of dance and house classics as well as current songs. Since 2005 they has released many overseas labels such as King Street Sounds, Afrocentric, Nulu Electronic, Tribe Records, BBE Music, etc, and played by a wide range of domestic and foreign DJs. They currently runs their own labels, Green Parrot Recording/Yellow Parrot Recording.

Since 2016 they have also performed abroad. After an appearance at the We Out Here Festival outside London which organized by Giles Peterson in August 2022, the DJ tour UK and EU for a month and a half, playing 14 venues. Regular parties Block Party, Music Of Many Colours and Bridge SHINJUKU with Toshio Matsuura. In May 2023 they started a new party Prisma @ 0 Zero every 2nd Sunday Afternoon.
